Tonight 17 of our Scouts went to Chorley A&E: two ended up in plaster, another two in bandages, one required a CT scan, another an X-Ray... fortunately it was all pretend! We also visited the Endoscopy Theatres, Rawcliffe Orthopaedic Ward and went back in time to visit the 1930s Boardroom in the heart of the old Chorley Hospital. A big thank you to all the Chorley Hospital staff for making us feel so welcome and taking the time to tell us about their different roles. No doubt we've now got some nurses, radiographers and doctors in the making!
